Books

Hey, I need some help with something.. well more or less some advice. I am eager to read .. yes, its shocking I know. So my taste is this.. NOTHING Romantic or starting with once upon a time, nothing SC FI (sorry Tammy's) and if its religious its has to be limited!... I like true crime and documentary. The last two books I read were Attica State Prison Riot and The biography of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg. So what are some good books to read these days

Help

I was at the movies this past Friday night and after the movie the ladies room was calling. Well, there was theses girls there, my age (20's) and the were looking at me but had this mean look and I felt really self conscious. One kept looking me up and down. I walked out before them and they followed and I meet back up with my bf bobby and the same girls gave me this look. The kinda look like, "What are you doing with him, your so ugly and plain and he is attractive" I just smiled at bobby and let it go.

Till I got home to look in the mirror. And if you know me I am not an impressive dresser.. I am the jeans, flip flops, shirt, little makeup and hair down kinda girl. Never thought of my self as ugly but not beautiful either. I just felt like all the things I do to myself as far as looks, don't help and when I do no one seems to notice. So I feel invisible when it comes to being attractive. I am not afraid to admit I am self conscious about how I look. BUT I DO NOT second guess my brain and/or my character. I am not afraid to say what needs to be said and if you know me, then you know that my being direct and aggressive is no joke and challenging me is a battle to be fought. I have always made my self known in the class room and crowed for my brain and I am proud of it but I want both beauty and brain. How do I not be so invisible?

So we are tied and we had to pick and number between 1 and 50 and I pick 41. The guy winks at me and i gage and roll my eyes ... grrr ... and picks 40. The number was 25... I could have gotten the book for the class for free and saved 70 bucks... Damn him "books stealer"... I want my book. So now its own..
Abortion

Exactly, responsibility is the main reason that these questions and or conversations get brought about who is responsible. I think people should be held responsible for their actions, but not my protesters or lobbyist. But by themselves and their companion. What I get upset over is people jumping the band wagon on this issues. I use the legal stand point cause after all it the law and it's the dominating guidelines. I just don't think people even know what they are talking about when it comes to abortion. They use the religious aspect when many of them have never read a Bible. They just respond with “Its wrong and its in the bible” I am sorry but taking that defense is a load of crap. Yes you can agree with by all means. But people need to find their own reasons not takes someone else’s. I have seen both sides of the argument due to personal experience with others and I have to say there is no right or wrong away to handle it. Your left with the best you choice you could have made at that time.

Yet it disgust me to see people delegate this issues on the basis of something they know nothing about for only what someone else said. I have never had children and I am sure when I do my opinion will change. Now I only see the side of seeing someone I know dearly, talk to those doctors as they pass judgment on her, suffer in the feeling of being alone, feel like a hypocrite for her actions and leave that day with the feeling of despair and complete devotion to depart this life of hers. I know what that choice dose to a person and I can say its not easy to live after that, nor is live the same. But it was made to save another and not herself, she loved him (stills dose) and didn’t want to destroy his life, for she had no regard for hers.

Abortion part 2

Well, the Common law statue I referred about the definition of a human being is only applied to conception and abortion. I think abortion should be a choice.. just as sex is a choice to get into it (most of the time) and getting out of it should be a choice as well. Abortion was not intended for people to have numerous accounts of unprotected sex and use it as an escape. It was intended to protect the life of the mother, in cases of rape, incest, and in some cases when the "child" would insure death within a short time after birth (used mostly to stop trauma to parents). However, pregnancy can occur with on birth control (real birth control.. Condom or medication.. not pull out method) then abortion should be a matter of choice. The government gives the right to the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. Yet now it wants to limit our use of it. Why give the right in the first place if it has strict limitations against it?

If I sound like I am trying to be a jerk or sound "like I am right," its not my intention to at all. Sorry if I do, I don't mean to.

Abortion

AOL is having a poll on birth control and should be over the counter? And as soon as you say birth control .. abortion comes with it. I responded with the following to people who say abortion is murder.

"Abortion is not murder. In criminal law.. more importantly in Common law... to define a human being, is for it to breath without help (without the mother). Since a fetus needs a mother to grow its not a human being. An abortion takes planing with doctors and such and if it were murder which its not. It would be 1st degree murder---> the unlawful killing with premeditation requiring a fully formed consciousness to kill, malice of fore thought and time to calming reflex on your actions. So if abortion was murder then how many people would be in prison serving a life sentence on death row.. considering Premeditated murder is Capital felony in this country...This is not a legal argument anymore.. Its a holy war of how to punish someone for a sin, according to the bible. Its a selfish thing to push beliefs on others simply because you can but its is a right to express an opinion such as I have. For ex. Killing a doctor who performs this act is what it has come too. Who gives you the right to kill a person (doc) to prove a point or are you so committed with advocating life that you kill people to prove it? "

Coming to the conclusion that this shit is not sinking in I decide to look up porn and like the radio, nothing good was on.. JK(calm down everyone). Yet, as I turn on the TV ... jumping for joy there it is.. my eyes light up and in a silent yell for orgasmic joy the headline read "Michael's Jackson domestic cooking tips book would be coming out soon.. lol actually it said "A bob Ross special" on all night.. OMG, how could this be I tell my self.. All, night.. omg I got a Christmas gift early.
